Plot Twisted Sisters

For better or worse, we're hearing about Nesta in this episode (and Cassian, yay!). Cary gets on her soapbox a few times here . . . so that gives you an idea what this episode consists of. Feysand haters need not listen. :) Everyone else, welcome!! Join us in recapping the last book in the ACOTAR series before the new one comes out NEXT WEEK! We. Can't. Wait.
We'll see you in a few weeks for a debrief of ACOTAR 6. Enjoy your reading time next week! <3

Celebrate the Winter Solstice with the whole inner circle (plus Nesta, ugh, and a few others in Velaris) and us as Cary recaps A Court of Frost and Starlight—the fourth (or three and half-th) book of the ACOTAR series. This book is pretty short, and the recap matches that. Most of this episode is chitchat.
If you’re just here for the recap, it starts at 13:25 and ends at 46:00.
If you’re here for the hangout, here are a few topics we discuss:
Cary’s fall sewing projects
The Love Hypothesis movie and book
Verity movie and book
Fallow book
Yesteryear book
Bonus chapters (like in A Court of Silver Flames)
Movies Cary has watched to death
2 cult-y books Carly is reading
The Walking Dead show
Our apocalypse survival plans
Videogames including Superliminal
Needlework and cross-stitching
Flu shots + fainting :)
Cary’s chocolate chip cookies !!with almond paste!!
And if you hang out until the end, Carly sings a song for us—a vocal stim she’s been maintaining for probably a decade at this point. :)

Today we say goodbye to Feyre's point of view as we finish the original trilogy of A Court of Thorns and Roses. This episode is a must-listen if you're not doing a re-read because lots of lore is revealed. So much happens in this one. Try to keep up!
The countdown for ACOTARs 6 and 7 is on.

The grand finale (as of now) of Violet, Tairn, and Andarna! We can't believe this one ends like this and we don't even know the next release date yet!!! Threshing Day, publishing Sept 29, should hopefully hold us over until Ms. Becca gifts us with another. Until then, enjoy this recap of the third book in the Empyrean series, Onyx Storm.

Now back to Feyre . . . and now Rhys!! Let's go to Velaris and meet the inner circle in the second book of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series—the one that changed everything. Do you remember everything that happened in this one? Carly didn't. Remember all the good (and the bad . . . we cry several times) in this recap by Cary. <3

Violet and gang are back at Basgiath. Lots of relationships in this one: we heal some, but many are on thin ice. We have conspiracies, betrayal, secrets revealed, resurrection, and of course dragons. This book is DENSE, and I did my best to condense it. But we have to know all the wild things that happen here! And a two-hour episode is way faster than reading the whole book, so get over it.
Join us for the second installment of the Empyrean Series: Iron Flame!
